The Alumni Abroad Foundation (AAF) is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization expanding equitable access to global experiences for students who face financial need or real barriers to getting there.

We support motivated undergraduate students through travel grants, alumni mentorship, and community partnerships — removing the barriers that keep too many students grounded.

At AAF, "abroad" isn't defined by distance or geography — it's defined by perspective. What feels expansive to one student may feel entirely familiar to another. We help students cross the physical borders that limit access and the perceived borders that limit possibility. For some, that first leap is to Barcelona. For others, it's to the Bay Area. Both count. Both matter.

As students experience the world and grow, they return committed to giving back. That's the Cycle of Opportunity: each generation of students helping open doors for the next.
