kwabe obeng
Founder & Executive Director
Kwabe Obeng is a Business Development Leader at Adobe, with experience across biotech, medical devices, manufacturing, and technology. He is a 1st generation Ghanaian American whose life has been fundamentally shaped by his cultural upbringing and several trips “abroad.”
Recognizing how these experiences expanded what he believed was possible, Kwabe founded AAF to expand access to these opportunities at scale. He is University of Toledo alum, and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Michigan.

Board Director
Henry Papa is a Global Key Accounts Executive at Trane Technologies, delivering complex cold-chain solutions that ensure life-saving therapies reach patients worldwide. He is a Florida State University alum and the founder of the Just Add Sprinkles Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to creating moments of joy and support for families in need.
Henry brings both operational expertise and nonprofit leadership to AAF, driven by a belief that exposure expands perspective and unlocks what individuals believe is possible.
jamie wood
Board Director
Jamie Wood is the Founder & CEO of Hyphenated Athletics, where he helps student-athletes discover purpose beyond sport through NIL, development, and mentorship. A former Ohio State football player, he previously worked in compliance at Ohio State and led NIL initiatives at Texas A&M.
Having lived in Germany, Jamie developed a deep appreciation for navigating diverse cultures. He is passionate about guiding the next generation to expand their identity, unlock their potential, and pursue opportunities beyond the field.
