make an impact

we need you

The Alumni Abroad Foundation is powered by people who believe exposure creates opportunity. But the access gap is a systemic problem that requires a community solution.

We're building a self-sustaining network of alumni, professionals, and world travelers dedicated to making sure the next generation of students doesn't get left behind. Every mentor conversation, every connection made, every story shared — it all keeps the Cycle of Opportunity turning.

Whether you have thirty minutes to share your international experience with a student, or want to walk alongside someone's journey as they take their first step abroad — your story is our most valuable asset.

Our 2026 founding cohort is currently in selection. Champions who join now will be among the first to shape this community — and first in line when students are matched this summer.

what to expect

We know "get involved" can feel vague — so here's what it actually looks like. You fill out a short form telling us who you are, what you care about, and how you want to show up. You define the commitment. Some Champions choose to serve as ongoing mentors — walking alongside a student from pre-departure through their return. Others simply share their story or open a door. You define the commitment.

Community Champions who serve as mentors do so voluntarily and independently. AAF facilitates the connection and does not supervise, direct, or assume responsibility for mentorship relationships.
